IS IT BLACK NET OR DARK WEB?
Is it Black Net or Dark Web?

Explore the uses of global information networks by social activists, hackers, whistleblowers, political campaigners, and those wishing to build an independent online public sphere.

The Dark web. It was known as the Black Net initially, back at 1992. It was a new technology that was all about encryption and having a sphere which was independent of anyone. It was used as a place where government spies would trade national secrets and I guess that’s where the things took off.

Dark web and Deep web

Unlike the normal internet, everything we do and say is someway traceable back to us with our IP Address and Cody stuff. While that would be a very fun thing to try at the early age of the internet, there are now high personals on the internet with a huge amount of money or clout. These people inflict harm in the real world if they found out you have been talking bad about them. For example, political silencing.

These are some of the reasons why most social activists, hackers, whistleblowers, political campaigners and drug dealers go to the dark web.

Web surfing software like Onion Tor can be used to go and do your business in the dark web and be totally incognito. How that works is all your information and browser data is encrypted and the IP address is bounced around continuously in the world (hence untraceable). By the way, Chrome’s incognito history can be seen as well by your internet service provider unless you use NordVPN. The sense of security gives them a perfect place to fulfil their agenda and puff.

Independent online public sphere again give the distributed and equality to every node outside of the actual world, where a hacker in underwear at home on a Friday night to hack and whistleblow off nationwide secrets to the public like WikiLeaks

Form a protest which will be going online to shape public opinion.

All in all, people like having total privacy but we live in world with the majority of our data being used against us and we need it as well to a certain point.
